As an adventurous girl, I have no fear to discover anything. I'm always craving excitement in life. One of the most important and favorite things to do is travelling. Indeed, acquiring some information about the place and discover it even I don't really know what's there behind. that's so challenging for me. And of course, I have always proof and stories to tell to everyone so I always bring something useful like the camera.
Just like any photo
enthusiast, I always take pictures of the scenery and especially watch
out for the beautiful Boracay Island. The last time I was there, however,
I focused more on the people and tried to discover what they do in
Boracay. The pictures in this hub show what I discovered. First I just wanna give you guys the background about Boracay Island.

The island is a short distance off the north-western tip of Panay Island, which is in the western Visayas in the Philippines. It was a busy week for me when my friends invited me to watch for a "FASHION ROCK" at the University of the Philippines Visayas campus. My friend will do modeling also for Filipino designers until we decided to go directly to Boracay after the show. It was a simultaneous decision. I got out from my shift at 3pm then I need to wait for my other friend Lovelee to get out from her shift. so I've been able to bring extra clothes for them.6pm was the departure time of a fast craft and it takes just 45minutes to travel from Bacolod to Iloilo City port.
We sleep at the hotel after the show then early in the morning traveling to the ceres terminal of Iloilo going Caticlan
It was 6hours of travel via air-conditioned bus. It was tired because of not enough sleep, thirsty and sleepy but when we arrived at Boracay feels so refresh and exciting. The water is so tempting, sweet breeze and relaxing wind blowing around plus powder-like sand in there. I can say " Please don't wear your Havaianas so that you will appreciate the sand" it's one of the beauties of nature which Boracay has. In Boracay, you can do a lot of activities here are some of my pictures I hope you will enjoy looking.
( underneath the sun) hey we came from the City of Smile that we got smiling faces
Look at the sand, at this moment we really don't care if we don't have enough clothes for this travel we only care is to enjoy. |
Xelca Don't wear your Ipanema coz I'm going to take off my Havaianas. |
Sunset? sorry I wasn't able to captured it
Souvenir shop at the back nice food OHH gosh it's all in there.
You don't know how much I miss you Boracay, always that's why I keep coming back.
can't say no to water, can't say no to walk in powder-like sand, and can't say no to ice cream ohhh crazy crepes oh Lala
I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm.
I always want new adventure in my life and I love to discover anything and island hopping and discovering what's there behind is my happiness |
Sponges grow in the ocean. That just 'gets' me. I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be if that didn't happen
Why do we love the sea? It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think
At the beach, life is different. Time doesn't move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.
Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone.
why can't life like this?
My life is like a stroll on the beach...as near to the edge as I can go.
I never dreamed to be a millionaire nor be famous or any power.
Calm, relaxing, and stress-free life near the beach with someone I love that's all I wanted.
As the ocean is never full of water, so is the heart never full of love”
The beach is in our blood. Everyone in our family returns to the beach instinctively, just like the sea turtles.
They're just foreigner in boracay they are everywhere
Enjoying Island hopping
sand sand sand...walking in the sand
looking for a sandcastle but found dolphin instead.

Relaxing after long a travel and about to sleep for the few hours before roaming around
